Madam besan chickpea flour prepared from pure chana dal. It is pale yellow in colour and fine in texture. It is a good source of dietary fibre and contains an insignificant amount of polyunsaturated fat. It is majorly used for making bajji, bonda and in many Indian dishes. It is a staple ingredient in the cuisine of the Indian subcontinent, including in Indian, Bangladeshi, Burmese, Nepali, Pakistani, Sri Lankan and Caribbean cuisines.
Storage & Uses:
Simply spread two cups of flour on a baking sheet or Silpat, and bake for about 5 minutes at 350° F. Let cool completely, ready to serve and eat. Store the chickpea flour in a cool and dry place.
