Double Rings Wheat Starch is a plant-based ingredient used in food, which is obtained from wheat. It is a white to off-white powder with a neutral odour and taste. It is physically extracted from wheat, separating gluten and other proteins.

Use:

Double Rings Wheat Starch is used in many types of food, e.g. to thicken custards, desserts, sauces and instant foods. It can also be used for binding, and moisture retention, as an emulsifier, stabilizer and a clouding and glazing agent.

Ingredients:

60~75% grain and 70~80% flour [3]. Starch granules located in starchy endosperm cells are composed of two polymers called amylose and amylopectin (Figure 2) [5]. Starch consists of two granules, a large A-granule (5~40 µm) and a small B-granule (<10 µm)
