Mango steen is an exotic, tropical fruit with a slightly sweet and sour flavour. It’s originally from Southeast Asia but can be found in various tropical regions around the world. The fruit is sometimes referred to as purple mango steen because of the deep purple colour its rind develops when ripe. In contrast, the juicy inner flesh is bright white.

Storage & Use:

Unlike mangos, mango steens must not be frozen as refrigeration or freezing quickly causes damage. For longer storage, keep it refrigerated which will keep it in good shape for several weeks. You can buy a mango sten box and eat it as a fruit or make juice out of it.
